Dynamic Contrast Enhanced (DCE) Perfusion
KIO Medical has developed a software to automatically extract vascular-based imaging biomarkers to detect neoplasms and changes associated with increased tumor neoangiogenesis activity and aggressiveness. This tool is useful for the characterization of tumoral processes in the early detection, diagnosis, treatment response evaluation and follow-up of patients with cancer.

Quantitative DCE-MRI method for clinical tumor detection
- Provide pharmacokinetic parameters
- Directly reveal physiological state of tumor
DCE-MRI module follow up assessment:
The kinetic parameters in DCE-MRI, which vary significantly during after surgery or radiontherapy, allow monitoring of tumor angiogenesis and vascular permeability and quantitative assessment of response to treatment efficacy. K(trans) value can serve as an indicator for early efficacy assessment of radiotherapy and for treatment adjustment with the long-term outcomes.
